Fathieh Saudi

My name is Fathieh Saudi and I am 61 years old. In 2007 I was diagnosed with breast cancer and received treatment consisting of surgery, chemotherapy and radiotherapy. Some three years later, in August 2010, I woke up one day with severe chest pain, it turned out to be a metastatic lung cancer in my left lung. I was treated with intensive chemotherapy using 3 drugs and later in April 2011 with surgery. After that I spent a few wonderful months feeling well and enjoying life. But in September 2011 I was  shocked, saddened and devastated to be told that my lung cancer wasn’t cured...

Sara Berry

Sara is an amazing and loving soul. A single mother who combated cancer in 2006 using various holistic remedies including a vigorous supplement & detox program, trusting her intuition that ’natural’ was the best way for her. She was dedicated to the cause and researched and learnt all she could about combating breast cancer. At that time she had a health policy which made it possible to cover the expenses. She battled quietly and diligently with love and patience to achieve her goal, to clear her breast cancer...and she did.

Unfortunately she has recently found out that the cancer has returned, this time in her lungs...

Tami Brown

Tami Brown

My name is Tami Brown, I’m 27, I have cancer and have been diagnosed as ’terminal’.
How it all started: My cancer story started when I was 20 years old and an expected appendicitis removal turned out to be a 90mm tumour inside my colon. I felt like my whole world had been turned upside down, all my hopes and dreams vanished in a split second. when you hear the word "cancer" you automatically think death and pain. I was very scared and felt very alone.

Karen Maycey

Karen Maycey

Karen was 37 when she was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer in July 2008. A second round of surgery the following month revealed the cancer had metastasised (spread) to a lymph node in her armpit.

Since November she has been on a rigorous detox and supplement programme which is boosting her immune system, detoxifying and alkalising her body, and making her body cancer unfriendly. The integrated treatment has been helping her regain her strength, but her cancer is still there. Karen needs your help to continue treatment that is not funded by the NHS.

Sue Mercer

Sue Mercer

Thank you for reading this. I could never imagine the shockingly horrific way that a cancer diagnosis can change one's life. Neither could I imagine the amount of love and support that would come flooding into my life. Lots of people have offered to make financial contributions and Yes to Life has offered to facilitate this. The treatment is expensive and anything you donate will be very much appreciated.

David Twomey

David Twomey

Hi, my name is Dave & I have Stage IV (metastatic) colorectal cancer. I had been teaching in Japan (though my passion is music - playing it and making it!) when I was diagnosed (February 2010) with a large malignant tumour at the last bend of my colon, 1 month later 3 tumours in the liver, plus 5 months ago 30 or so small but growing tumours in the lungs. According to stats from the NHS that diagnosis of Stage IV colorectal cancer gives me just a 5% chance of survival beyond 5 years. Well, not me! As far as I am concerned I am going to be one to buck the trend completely & live a long and full life, watching my children if I am so blessed, then hopefully some grandchildren too! But I need your help for this next stage of my recovery.....
