Kira Moore, manageress of The Ship, a pub in the City (Hart Street, London EC3), has collected over 100 ties to be sponsored for £10 each with proceeds coming to Yes to Life. She is also organising a week of crazy events at The Ship leading up to and culminating in the week of 30 November. All the ties, including special celebrity signed ones, will be auctioned along with some interesting photographs of Kira plus or minus ties. In addition, there will be a series of quizzes, a bonus board, staff boxes, customer swear boxes, and more. It is definitely worth visiting this wonderful and extremely friendly pub, especially during the week of 30 November.
